PIANO  SECTIONS:

• Piano Novice (N) - Students with less than 12 months tuition.

• Piano Solo Baroque/Classical (B/C)

• Piano Solo Romantic (RO)

• Piano Solo 1900 Onwards (19+)

• Piano Solo Australian (A) - This may be any style by an Australian Composer

• Piano Recitals (R) - Two contrasting pieces.

• Piano Duets (D)

• Piano Trios (T) - 3 players on 1 piano

ORCHESTRAL STRING  SECTIONS (Includes Harp):

• Orchestral Strings - Solo (S)

• Orchestral Strings - Recital (SR) Two contrasting pieces.

• Small String Ensemble (SE) - Duets, Trios, Quartets etc. (Maximum 9 performers).

WOODWIND AND  BRASS  SECTIONS (Includes Recorder):

• Woodwind and Brass - Solo (WB)

• Woodwind and Brass - Recital (WBR) Two contrasting pieces.

• Small Woodwind/Brass Ensemble - (WBE) Duets, Trios etc. (Maximum 9 performers).

GUITAR  SECTIONS:

• Guitar Solo (G)

• Guitar Recital - (GR) Two Contrasting Pieces

• Small Guitar Ensemble - (GE) Duets, Trios etc. (Maximum 9 performers).

VOCAL  SECTIONS (Backing Permitted):

• Vocal Solo - Classical (VS)

• Vocal Solo - Musical Theatre (VM)

• Vocal Solo - Pop/Contemporary (VP)

• Vocal Recital (VR) - Two contrasting pieces

• Small Vocal Ensemble (VE) - Duets, Trios etc. (Maximim 9 singers).

• Large Vocal Ensemble (CH) - More than one person per part (choirs). (Minimum 10 singers). Two contrasting pieces.

CONCERTO:

One movement only. Piano accompaniment or small instrument ensemble only. No CD Backings.

 

CHAMBER  GROUP:

(e.g. Flute and Piano). One person per part, where each part is of equal importance. Two contrasting pieces.

 

LARGE  INSTRUMENTAL  ENSEMBLES:

(Minimum 10 performers) - Two contrasting pieces.

 

OWN  COMPOSITION/ARRANGEMENT:

A copy of the composition or arrangement must be sent to:
